Warranty Coverage
At Stride Lab Shop, we stand behind the quality of the products we sell. If you believe you have received a defective item, please inspect your merchandise as soon as it arrives and contact us promptly so we can help review your claim. This version follows the same overall structure as the reference page, which asks customers to inspect items on receipt and follow product-specific warranty procedures.
Warranty Coverage
Warranty coverage varies by product category and manufacturer.
Shoes are covered by a 30-day limited warranty against manufacturing defects unless otherwise noted on the product page. This warranty does not cover normal wear and tear, outsole wear from regular use, toe drag, accidental damage, misuse, or improper care. Some footwear may also include a separate outsole guarantee offered by the brand, which can extend beyond 30 days depending on the model.
Tennis and racquetball racquets are generally covered by a 1-year limited manufacturer warranty. Platform tennis paddles are also generally covered by a 1-year limited manufacturer warranty. Squash racquet warranty coverage may vary by model and brand, and some frames may not carry a warranty due to the nature of the sport. Strings and grommets installed on new racquets are generally covered for 30 days, excluding breakage caused by normal play.
Other items are generally covered by a 30-day limited warranty against manufacturing defects, unless a different warranty period is stated on the product page or provided by the manufacturer. For court equipment, stringing machines, ball machines, and certain specialty products, warranty terms may vary by brand.
What Is Not Covered
Our warranty does not cover issues resulting from normal wear and tear, cosmetic wear from regular use, accidental damage, abuse, improper care, improper storage, unauthorized alterations, or misuse of the product. Product-specific exclusions may also apply depending on the manufacturer’s policy. The reference page uses these same kinds of exclusions, especially for shoes and manufacturer-handled claims.
How to Start a Warranty Claim
Before sending anything back, please contact our customer support team so we can review your claim and provide next steps.
Email: support@stridelabshop.com
When reaching out, please include:
- your order number
- the product name
- a brief description of the issue
- clear photos showing the defect
- photos of the packaging, if relevant
For some claims, we may issue a Return Authorization (RA) number and ask you to include it with your return. We may also provide additional instructions based on the product category. The reference page similarly requires customers to contact support first, obtain an RA number for many claims, and include a note with the return.
Packaging Your Warranty Return
If we ask you to return an item for inspection, please package it carefully to avoid further damage in transit. Racquets should be padded and boxed securely. Please do not send back any non-defective accessories, covers, or extras unless we specifically ask for them. Improperly packaged warranty returns may be refused. This closely follows the packaging guidance on the reference warranty page.
What Happens After We Receive Your Claim
Warranty claims submitted within 30 days of delivery or purchase will be reviewed by our team. If the claim is approved, we may offer a replacement, refund, or store credit, depending on product availability and the nature of the issue. The reference page states that approved claims made within 30 days are inspected and may be exchanged or refunded.
For claims made after 30 days, we may need to refer the item to the manufacturer for inspection or approval. If the manufacturer approves the claim, the item may be repaired, replaced, or credited depending on the brand’s policy and available remedy. Manufacturer review can take additional time. The reference page notes that these claims may be sent to the manufacturer and can take 4–8 weeks to complete.
Any repaired or replaced item will carry the remainder of the original warranty period, not a new warranty term. If a manufacturer rejects a warranty claim, the item may be returned with an explanation.
Footwear Outsole Guarantees
Some shoes may include a separate brand outsole guarantee, typically on select court shoes. These guarantees vary by manufacturer and style, and they usually apply only when the outsole is completely worn through within the stated coverage period. Product details should be reviewed carefully for eligibility. The reference page specifically notes that certain shoes have outsole guarantees of up to 12 months, while others are handled directly by brands such as adidas, Babolat, K-Swiss, Mizuno, New Balance, and Selkirk.
In some cases, outsole claims must be filed directly with the manufacturer, while in others we may help guide you through the process. If you are unsure, please contact us first and we will point you in the right direction. The reference page lists several shoe brands whose outsole warranty claims are handled through brand-specific claim procedures.
Manufacturer Warranty Claims
Certain products are covered primarily under the manufacturer’s warranty rather than an in-house store warranty process. If your item falls into that category, we may direct you to the brand for the fastest resolution. Manufacturer warranties, claim requirements, and processing times vary by brand and product type. This is consistent with the reference page’s manufacturer-specific handling for selected footwear, paddles, and equipment.
Important Notes
Warranty coverage applies only to defects in materials or workmanship. It does not guarantee product lifespan under all usage conditions. Because warranty terms can vary by brand, product, and model year, the product page and any included manufacturer documentation should be treated as the most specific source of warranty information for that item. The reference page also directs customers to product details for certain manufacturer warranties.
